Project 105

It’s not often someone calls you and ask you to design a completely new house. A wonderful process with wonderful clients. From early concept design and through construction, the entire family was involved each step of the way. Their thoughtful engagement was matched by a solid general contractor whose trades went the extra mile.

The house is approximately 3,800 square feet with substantial outdoor amenities including decks and porches, all surrounded by a revegetated landscape that features native plant and tree species.

What makes this project unique are the collection of social spaces that emerged from the design. Inside and outside, upstairs and downstairs, and in-between, connections to be made.

A once-in-a-lifetime project.

Built by Cavallo Builders and supervised by Doug Valk. Landscape design and install by Kate McCarty Organic Landscapes.
